"Speaking" Façade Prologue A man, who looked to be the age of 19, stood in the rain. His dark blue hair stuck to his face. His once crystal clear blue eyes had now become a deep sapphire; from the pain he was experiencing. The rain that ran down his face hid the tears that were falling from his eyes. He was not suffering from physical pain, even though it felt like his heart was being torn from his chest. He was suffering from having his heart broken. He was not alone in the rain though. A man stood in front of him, with his back turned to the younger man. "Why are you doing this?!" The young man asked the man in front of him, his voice filled with pain. The older man laughed. He turned around. His blue eyes were hidden beneath his brown hair. "That's a dumb question Orphan. You should know why I'm doing this." "Well I don't! Explain to me why you're leaving! What have I done wrong?!" The young man, Orphan , screamed at him. "You've done nothing wrong." "Then, why are you leaving?! Tell me Ryuichi!" "You actually thought I would stay with you? Orphan, you were nothing but a toy to me. You say you love me, but you don't mean it. Come on! You didn't think I actually loved you." "But, all of those things you said." Orphan whispered, his vision blurring with the new tears that started to form in his eyes. "Lies. Don't you get it? You mean nothing to me! I'm going back to Tokyo, because Nittle Grasper is reuniting. I won't have time for little boys like you. So, don't take it personally." "No, No, NO! Ryuichi, please! Don't do this!" "Goodbye Orphan." Ryuichi said to him, as he stepped into the cab that would take him to the airport. As the cab drove off, Ryuichi finally let the tears he had been holding back, loose. "I'm sorry Orphan. But, I can't be with you any more. I don't want you to get hurt by all the fame that comes with being my lover." Ryuichi whispered to himself. After the cab was out of sight, Orphan dropped to his knees. "You want me to forget you, don't you Ryu-chan? I don't think I can do it, but I'll try-- for you. You'll see, Dragon's Soul WILL become the number one band in America, then the world! Maybe then, I'll be able to see you again, my love. Until then, I will try to move on. Not goodbye Ryu-chan, just see ya later." Orphan whispered to himself. He stood up, and started to walk back to the hotel where Dragon's Soul was staying. But, he was not only walking towards the hotel, but towards a new life without his Ryu-chan. Or so he thought. TO BE CONTINUED.
