Site History

This is my first, and currently only site.
I first started out with website building about two and half to three years ago, when my dad bought me a 'web building for beginners' book. It was really simple and well-explained, and so i decided to start and try. I was so excited at the idea of being able to create my very own webpage that people could view from anywhere on the internet. So on my IMac at home, I started experimenting with the basic tools and tags, like and such. I was thrilled when I saw that I could actually put up a paragraph on the net, so you can imagine my excitement when I learned how to create links and image links.

Then a few months later, I went to visit my cousins overseas, and found out more about websites and all. So when i returned home, I decided to start building a site. I immediately got down to work, and decided on Sailor Mars as the subject of my website, since I loved Sailormoon, and Mars was my favorite. I surfed the net and collected all sorts of basic information and statistics as well as pictures on her. By August 31st 2001, my site was finally up! And I couldn't have been happier....of course now when i look back at my first site building attempt it looks kind of really bad in terms of layout and all, but at that time I was overexcited to have created something of my own on the internet. ^_^

For the next few weeks I learned more and more on site building(not much on site designing unfortunately), and discovered the guestbook features, site counters and others(I know I know all that is really basic). Then less than two months after I had created my site, very important and demanding events and things came into my life, and so I had to let it go for what i thought would be a while. However I completely forgot about it and website building until six months ago, when I finally had my life slowed down, which gave me more, much more free time. And since then I've learned so much more about everything that has to do with being a webmistress, and my site has gone through complete metamorphysis ever since, and is now what it is today! *hehee* And I don't intend to neglect it again for such a long period of time(I'd let it down for almost two years!)

Well that was how my site came to be what it is today, hope I didn't bore you! :)
